Innovation and Development of Economic in Afghanistan (IDEA)
is a National humanitarian Aid, relief, and development non-sectarian non-religious, non-profit organization with the Headquarters in Herat. IDEA founded in 2022 works Herat province, providing emergency assistances, persecution, or natural disaster. IDEA is working in Herat since 2022 officially registered with Ministry of Economy Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan with Registration No (5351).
The Innovation and Development of Economic in Afghanistan (IDEA) developed this manual as a general guide to employment policies for national employees in Afghanistan. This document contains policies and procedures intended as both regulation and guide for all national staff and international staff that work with them.
Employees should read the written policies as soon as possible after receiving them, and discuss any questions they may have with their supervisor or representative of the HR department in their respective duty station.
It is the responsibility of all employees to familiarize themselves with the policies outlined and to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner and in the best interests of the IDEA, its donor organizations, and the displaced persons with whom IDEA serves.
It is IDEA’s responsibility to oversee these policies and the compensation benefits set forth. IDEA encourages staff to approach their respective supervisor, IDEA Coordinator and Managers or Deputy Director Operations for Clarification or Interpretation of any policy or procedure written in the policy.

Goal
IDEA, as a non-governmental, non-profit and non-political organization, aims to provide services to the people taking into account the needs of Afghan society by participating in development and social issues at various levels. Of course, it implements all its future projects and work plans with full transparency in coordination with the respected ministries of the Afghan government sector.

A sustainable strategy is devised to achieve the maximum, a need based and right based approach initiated ascertains the problem with fully community involvement and mobilizing all indigenous and local resources. Overall Objective
The overall development objective of (IDEA) is enhanced ability in the target communities to tackle their own economic, social and environmental problems for sustainable community development.
- To educate the deprived and under privilege common folk about the basic human rights and find basis to incorporate their efforts and mobilization to achieve maximum output
- To enable the community in development of local level institutions and assist them in undertaking community based welfare and development interventions.
- To Provide quality legal assistance to juvenile victims of sexual abuse, exploitation and trafficking, especially street children in conflict with law and children in detention, vulnerable to sexual abuse
- Promote Gender
- To devise and organize for women and children particularly to their rights to acquire educations and improve their health and earnings.
- To ensure full participation of local level grassroots organizations in decision making process including problem identification, planning, management, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation aimed at sustainability
- To facilitate easy access to credit and motivate communities for group saving leading towards small enterprise development and income generating activities aimed at economic empowerment.
